I am a Graphic Designer/Designer/Modeler with the skills of an artist and the attention to detail of an engineer. My vast knowledge of various artistic and design practices, ranging from Adobe software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver, InDesign, After Effects) to CAD programs (SolidWorks, Inventor and AutoCAD) have allowed a broad, multi-disciplined outlet for my work. My professional experience has given me a diverse understanding of design and drafting for various outlets; ranging from the defense industry to broadcast media to fine art.

Head Designer/Drafter/System Design Engineer

  • Responsible for the design, integration and review of multi-level CCTV, security, electrical and building

  • integration drawing.

  • Set the standard of design for all of the ESS (Electronic security systems) in the company while

  • integrating all of the NIWIC standards.

  • Multiple level drawings included interconnecting wiring diagrams, elevation drawings, Bills of Materials,

  • site plans, foundations, cable block diagrams, fabrications and other architectural drawings.

  • Worked heavily in AutoCAD, Excel, Inventor, Microsoft Word to complete the task at hand, which also

  • involved reverse engineering and a strong understanding of engineered drawings and red line mark ups.

  • All drawings and designs were completed with the latest ASME standards, ANSI C2 Safety code, NFPA

  • (electric code), EM 385 (safety and health requirements), and SPAWAR (SIPH).

  • Integral in site surveys, documentation and implementation of what the client needed

Drafter/Designer III

  • Responsible for the creation of exploded view illustrations and models in support of SPAWAR SYSTEMS CENTER CHAS’s Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Level 3 Technical Data Packages (TDP).

  • Uses AutoCAD and SolidWorks to create cable block diagrams, installation details, block wiring diagrams, drawing trees, assembly drawings and 3D models to depict system and component level installations of Various GFE vehicles.

  • Utilized Windchill PDM, Excel, Word and PowerPoint to create and maintain a database for configuration management and reverse engineering.

  • Completes drawings in accordance with the latest ASME specifications and Engineers Drawing Standard Guide (EDSG).

  • Designs flyers, logos, ads, portraits, posters, and stickers all utilizing eye-popping displays and diverse color palette for persons and businesses.

  • Under the name “Elmodern Design” he is still working on logos, ideas, sculptures and free hand art to stay fresh on design techniques and software.
